Located on the hills overlooking Wellington harbour, with expansive views around the region, the new planting was designed to be viewed both from the house above and to create a striking entrance from the street level below. Access was challenging, as are the coastal conditions, so a selection of evergreen hardy plants were selected to continue the curved forms of the hard landscaping.

With stunning mountain views to the north also, and strong prevailing winds, plantings are being established to create sheltered outdoor living areas enjoyed from the upper level of the home.
